Its just a navy suit…right? Wrong!

Okay, Okay….but this is a line I have heard spouted time and time again from every fashion expert and menswear blogger, YOU need a navy suit etc. You know what, it actually is true…navy is probably the most versatile colour you can wear.

Now…I’m not talking about that dark, almost black navy that most guys like this wear (yes..that is mean I know…but I’m using it to make a point here) I’m talking about that beautiful mid shade that almost strays into Royal blue territory. But you see….at the end of the day…the reason why its a good colour…is that any guy of any complexion can wear it and look dashing!

Pat and I did these photos at a brand new tram overpass they built close where I live, again..we caught the sunlight at such a beautiful time…Adelaide really does have amazing sunsets

Here I wore the 1 button Jack London Trace elements navy suit. (by far the best thing I own at the moment) a slim fit chambray shirt from Asos and some suede shoes a friend gave to me (score!) I didn’t button the top button since i felt it could do with a little bit of an unkempt vibe…its something I don’t do always. but certainly if you don’t want to look too businessy  it helps to lighten the look (just don’t do it with a large tie sporting a double Windsor… that’s all kinds of strange)
